Ethiopian Jazz: Tonight Co-Host Alnoor Allidina features improvised music from Ethiopia. He will focus heavily on the music of composer & musician Mulatu Astatke, known as the father of Ethiojazz. He will also feature singer & band leader Alemayehu Eshete, saxophonist Getatchew Mekurya, and close the program with a wonderful collaboration between Astatke and the UK-based Heliocentrics.
