September 4 Bass and Drums: Recent jazz releases by bassists Heillig Manoeuvre, Duncan Hopkins, Tom Kennedy, Jesper Lundgaard & Christian McBride and drummers Jesse Cahill, Marko Djordjevic, Kahil El'Zabar, Jack Mouse, Dave Robbins, Frank Rosaly, George Schuller & Craig Wuepper, presented by Ron Sweetman.

September 11 September 11: Jazz and blues recordings made over the years on September 11, selected by Co-Host Ron Steeds.

September 18 Don Byas: Co-Host Jim Reil has prepared a show featuring the great tenor Don Byas in recordings from the 1940s and 1950s, as a leader and with the Count Basie Orchestra.

September 25 Martial Solal & Henri Texier: In his introductory program, new Co-Host Jean-Michel Labatut will feature the recordings of pianist Martial Solal and bassist Henri Texier.

October 2 Listen Before You Buy: Recent jazz and blues releases chosen by Ron Sweetman. Will include singers Fawn Fritzen, Eugenie Jones & Lucy Smith, pianist Art Hodes, and small groups Doubt Trio, Roby Glod 4, The Group, Living By Lanterns, Savoy Brown & Spin Doctors.

October 9 Paul Winter Sextet: Recordings from 1962 and 1963 by the racially integrated sextet led by saxophonist Paul Winter, introduced by Ron Sweetman.

October 16 Jazz vs. Gamelan: East meets West when jazz and gamelan come together. From the delightful swing of Tony Scott's Indonesian all-star band to the avant-garde compositions of Anthony Davis, more than a few great players have been influenced by the ancient sounds of Indonesia. Rob Bitschofsky hosts.

October 23 October 23: Jazz and blues recordings made over the years on October 23, researched and presented by Co-Host Ron Steeds.

October 30 Trumpets: A rousingly brassy program to mark our first Funding Drive program, animated by Co-Host Rob Bitschofsky and Host Ron Sweetman.
